We absolutely love the power of chance encounters but sometimes even chance could use a little nudge. Dewdropz allows you to do more than just random pairing, you can choose how employees get paired through our matching rules. Instead of the default "Random" matching, you can now choose to match employees within specific groups or across groups.

Note: this is only available in paid plans.

To access the Matching Rules feature, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account on our Console as an Superuser.
  2. Go to the "Pairings" page.
  3. Click on the "Matching Rules" tab.

Once you're on the Matching Rules tab, you'll see three options for how to match employees:

How does the app know what criteria to use for these settings?

When you choose one of these custom matching rules, you are asked to create Groups. If you've created Groups before, you can modify them or keep them the same.

Groups

Groups are a way to define subsets, categories or labels that will apply to people so that you can then segment for matching. Unlike trying to use values from Teams(which isn't always up-to-date or available), you can define the groups in any way that makes sense for you. This gives you the most flexibility.
